I will start by saying this is not an invitation to open communication but God was impressing upon me to express some things to you.
First, let me say anything that you have done to me, is in the past and cannot hold me back from my life and my destiny as written by God. Anything or anyone Satan has been using to hold me back no longer can have access to me or my life. I no longer allow fear, anxiety, depression and worry to have control over my life which includes anyone consumed by the same.
Now to the real purpose of this letter.
Back when you had your health issue… I don’t care what the doctor could or could not find. You had a stroke and you were miraculously healed the moment I told your sister “of course it’s going to be okay” before I even left for the hospital that night. I know that I know that I know this is a fact.
When I drove you home from the hospital a year later after you took yourself in to be checked again due to extreme anxiety, I tried to impress upon you the importance of forgiving the men in your life. It was and is holding you back from the fullness God has for you and is only hurting you, not them. You listened and I thought you accepted what I was saying but you came to me about a week later and told me you thought you figured it out. It was fear, not forgiveness you had a problem with.
If that was the case, why do you still harbor so much incredible negative emotion toward certain men?
But let’s put the forgiveness thing to the side for now.
Fear: the Bible tells us that fear is a sin. When it is written “do not fear” it’s not a suggestion or something you should try to do eventually. It’s a command. You can think of it this way: when you worry, fret and fear, what you are actually doing is communicating to God you can do a better job of dealing with the issue than He can. It’s one of the most prideful things you can do in this life.
In fact, you’re taking away His ability to work and your angels are not able to move on your behalf. The spiritual realm is unable to do a single thing for you in this matter because you will not let go.
Fear stops the Blessing. What is the Blessing? Read Deuteronomy 28: 1-15 I’ll wait while you look in up and read it…
Doesn’t that sound so amazing? I don’t care if it is in the Old Testament because God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He said it before Jesus Christ presented His blood at God’s feet as the perfect sacrifice, it’s still holds true today. The curse is gone, but not the Blessing.
How do you live in the Blessing? Follow His commandments. What is the greatest commandment? LOVE. If you LOVE, everything else will follow. What does this have to do with fear? There is no fear in LOVE. Therefore, if you have fear you do not have LOVE, if you do not LOVE, the Blessing cannot be released in your life.
Now, how do you get rid of fear? It’s easy to say “give it to God” right? When I mentioned “fear”, something came to mind. Probably more than one thing came to mind. That would be the Holy Spirit trying to bring to mind those things that are weighing you down spiritually. Get a pencil and paper and write down every one of those fears down. Do it now….
So now you should have your list. If you don’t, stop reading, get a piece of paper and a pencil, close your eyes and write down everything that comes to mind.
Got it? Okay, now I don’t need to know what you wrote down nor does anyone else. This is your list. Read over it. I bet just thinking about it creates anxiety, right?
It’s time to realize what this list signifies. Since fear is not of God and God is truth. Everyone of those items on your list are lies. They are lies from Satan who comes to steal, kill and destroy.
I can just hear the rebuttal of “but how can I afford that, what if this happens, but he did this to me or she said that about me or they said I couldn’t so such and such or so and so.” (whoops, I slipped into forgiveness a bit but honestly, the same principles apply) I’ve know I’ve said those same things myself. Before you can live in the fullness of God’s abundant Blessing, you must come to terms with the undeniable fact that ..
..we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 KJV
Satan will do everything he can to twist a phrase, influence a tone of voice, put thoughts in your head about what someone did or said in order to steal your Blessing!
Now, it’s time to let it go. Does that sound scary? Remember, fear is not of God and this fear is designed to keep you under Satan’s thumb.
Here’s the good news. You have the authority to tell Satan to leave and God has the power to do it. Unfortunately, God gave the authority over to mankind so He can’t do anything on the Earth that mankind does not command. We must use our authority to cast Satan out of our lives.
How do you let go? Here are some things that I have found helpful. 1) Tell Satan he has no right to influence your life and tell him to get out in the almighty name of Jesus Christ. 2) When those thoughts creep back in, tell them “No, I am walking in LOVE now and you are trespassing. Get out!” 3) Look up scriptures that apply and quote them at Satan, 4) Find some physical action that helps you give the list to God such as shredding it, burning it, flushing it or all of the above; 5) Don’t give up.
But most of all, talk to God and remember…
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them and when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Mark 11: 24-25 KJV
Yes, forgiveness is paramount to our relationship with God and His Blessing. If you cannot forgive, God cannot forgive you. And because LOVE cannot be unforgiving, unforgiveness is a sin.
Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 AMP
Remember that no sin is worse than another except to reject Jesus’ sacrifice. The best thing about God’s forgiveness is that He forgets the sin. Hebrews 8:12 Repent (which means to stop doing what you’re doing and do the opposite) to God, judge yourself and move on. If any unLOVING thoughts enter your mind, repent and move on.
When I mentioned forgiveness, I am sure people popped in your mind. I encourage you to write them down just as you did the fear items. Don’t ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit to allow you to live in the fullness of God’s Blessing. Don’t rationalize why forgiveness would not be necessary in any particular situation.
Also, in order to grant forgiveness, the person who “did you wrong” doesn’t need to ask forgiveness. They may not even know or understand why you need to forgive them. Honestly, it doesn’t matter and withholding forgiveness does not punish them. It’s like drinking poison to try to make the other person sick.
Remember the 1 Corinthians verse above where it says…
…it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured…
…as impossible as it may seem, we are not supposed to take offense, no matter what someone does or says to or about us.
You don’t have to take any of my words and thoughts to heart or apply them. I won’t take offense. It’s your life and you can make your own decisions. Be assured you will still go to heaven when your physical body dies if you have made Jesus the Lord of your life. BUT, you will not fulfill the destiny God laid out for you nor will you live in the fullness of God’s Blessing of abundance and prosperity.
What is done on Earth will be done in Heaven.
