A common answer to the question “If there is a God, why do bad things happen?” or “Why does God let these things happen?” is “We can’t know the will of God and have to trust that God is doing this for me, He has a plan.”
Yes, God has a plan and can work all things for the good of us who love and follow Him (Roman 8:28). BUT, God does not and cannot cause bad things to happen to us. God is love. True love cannot do evil and all good things come from above (James 1:17). If there is anything negative in your life and destroys your peace and well being, it is from Satan (John 10:10).
God gave authority over the earth to Adam when He breathed life into him. Then Adam gave over that authority when he allowed Satan to come into the garden and deceive Eve. Sin came upon God’s people in an instant and God immediately began to take steps to reconcile mankind to him in order to have that relationship once again. He loves us so very much and craves for that relationship.
Who lost more during the lifetime of the world to date? Mankind? No. God lost his most beautiful angel and one-third of his heavenly host. God lost his precious and coveted relationship with mankind.
He lost so much and sent Jesus, the manifested presence of Himself to save us. That was the only way He could intervene on our behalf. He needed a man on earth who could and would speak the Word (Mathew 18:18). God cannot work in the earth unless we speak the promises and blessings because He gave that authority to mankind (Genesis 1:26-28). We declare what should occur so God’s greatness is manifest in the earth.
Jesus took all our sins, pain, sickness, disease and curses down to the depths of Hell and let Satan and his minions believe they had defeated him. Then at the appointed time, Jesus came out of hell. He didn’t just come back to life, He pummeled Satan and made a mockery of him, leaving all the sins, pain, sickness, disease and curses in hell. Then he laid his blood at the feet of God and made himself the perfect and complete sacrifice for the sin Adam committed back in Eden.
Jesus obliterated Satan’s power (1 John 3:8) and reestablished the close and intimate relationship between mankind and God.
We have the authority to speak to anything and it will change (Mark 11:23). God cannot work on the earth unless we speak (Matthew 18:18).
If something is happening to you and affecting your joy and peace, rebuke it; rebuke Satan and he must leave you alone (James 4:7). You have the authority to change your circumstances supernaturally and call in the heavenly host to intercede on your behalf.
How? Plant the seed: Speak those things which are not as though they were (Romans 4:17, 2 Corinthians 4:18). Water the seed: Praise the Lord and worship Him for what you have asked. Do not speak anything against what you are expecting. The circumstances will turnaround supernaturally.
God only wants the best and most for His children. He did the hard part, all we need to do is believe and speak it into existence. Speak life!!
